Account Deletion Guide

This page explains how users can request deletion of their MockVest account and all associated data.

How to delete your MockVest account

You can delete your account directly from the MockVest app or website after logging in.

  • Log in to your MockVest account.
  • Open the Edit Profile page.
  • Click the Delete Account button.
  • A confirmation box will appear. Enter DELETE to confirm.
  • Click Delete.
  • You will be asked to confirm once again. Click Yes, delete my account.

Once confirmed, your account will be permanently deleted.

If you are unable to access your account, you may request account deletion by emailing support@mockvest.in from your registered email address.

What data is deleted

When you delete your MockVest account, all associated user data is permanently removed, including but not limited to:

  • Name and profile information
  • Email address and login credentials
  • Passwords (securely deleted)
  • Portfolio data
  • Insights and performance data
  • Trades and transaction records entered by the user

In short, all user-related data is deleted when the account deletion process is completed.

Delete only your Portfolio (without deleting account)

If you simply want to start over, you do not need to delete your entire account. You can delete only your portfolio and create a fresh one.

How to delete only your portfolio (Web)

  • Make sure you are logged in to your MockVest account.
  • Go to the Portfolio Overview page:
    https://mockvest.in/portfolio-overview/
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  • Click the Delete Portfolio button.
  • A confirmation prompt will appear.
    Click Delete Permanently.

Once deleted, your portfolio data will be removed, and you can create a new portfolio anytime from the same page.
